            Sports in snowy northern China

            On Feb. 7, a number of children took part in the third Sunshine Sport Competition in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang province. During the day, young competitors played soccer and other sports in the ice and snow of northern China. The competition is China’s top-level large-scale sporting competition for teenagers, aiming to promote the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and encourage more people to participate in winter sports.
